Growing up in Berks and Lancaster Counties, Sarah told her parents at an early age that she was going to move to a city when she grew up. Now she calls Philadelphia her home. Over the last four years, she made homes in several unique neighborhoods. Pier 3 was an experience on the water, just outside Old City. Brushing shoulders with the Rittenhouse elite at 23rd and Locust was a treat-- especially with the great Dog Park. And living on 'the edge' at Lofts 640 (yes, it's North of Spring Garden!) was a collision of upscale loft life in a gritty environment. Coupled with her office in South Philly, she's covered four corners of center city.
The best part about living in the city is the convenience. There are half a dozen museums, countless theatre/play houses, beautiful parks, booming restaurant neighborhoods, architecture, and history... just a short walk, taxi or septa-ride away. Specific Philadelphia favorites are linked on the right. At last, Sarah has settled in the 'burbs of Ardmore in her first house. The most amazing discovery? The green smell of fresh cut lawns, blooming flowers, green tree-lined streets-- it's best first thing in the morning on a run or at the end of the day as the sun sets.
